Dural Veterinary Hospital has been established since 1972. In 2012 it underwent a full refurbishment with patient care and comfort as a priority – everything from good insulation and temperature control to really cosy housing and high-tech medical equipment. Dr Donna McGrath joined the team in 2018 and is continuing the legacy of personalised, caring service that Dural Veterinary Hospital is known for. The hospital provides exceptional animal health care in Sydney’s North. Our wide range of services ensures your pet’s health, medical, surgical and nutritional needs are provided by our dedicated staff. We pride ourselves on providing helpful and welcoming service to you and your pets.

Current Safety Practices
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times, we are working to ensure the health and wellbeing of our team, customers and your beloved pets as we face the challenges ahead.
It is known that reducing face to face contact will slow the spread of the corona virus, so we are proactively putting measures in place to ensure your safety and that of our team. Where face to face consultations are not advisable we will do everything we can to assist you and your pet, by offering minimal human contact options for our consultations.
When making your appointment:
Please phone to make your appointment and let us know if any of the following applies to you:
You are unwell;
You have travelled overseas within the past 14 days;
You have come into contact with a person that has tested positive for COVID-19.
If these apply to you, this is how we can help you and your pet:
Please phone us before you visit the clinic. We can discuss your pet's situation with you and either conduct a telemedicine consultation or make an appointment or reschedule if not urgent.
If your pet is unwell, we may ask that someone else accompanies your pet for the visit.
Or if you need to come into the clinic, we can collect your pet from your car when you arrive at the clinic to reduce your contact with others in the clinic. Simply call us on arrival. Our team members may take your pet into the consult room whilst you wait in the car and we can keep you informed.
What you can do to keep us all safe:
Limit the number of people accompanying your pet to one person per pet. We appreciate there may be circumstances where this is not possible – please let us know prior to arriving if this is the case.
Where possible please use credit cards or EFTPOS for payment to reduce the need to handle money.
Please ring and pre-order medications or food you require to reduce time you spend in the clinic. We can bring this out to the car for you
Whilst we appreciate this is a very difficult time for everyone, we are doing what we can to continue to provide quality service to you and your pet and reduce the risk to both our customers and team members.
As this is an evolving situation, we will continue to follow contemporary advice and will keep you updated as things change.
Thank you for your support and patience during these difficult times
Kind regards, Dural Vet Team
